My name is Sky and I went vegan in 2005 in Berkeley, CA while I was at Cal. Back then there wasn't a strong vegan community and there wasn't much information out there about how to do it and what to buy or just how to live. Now it seems there's a vegan festival every weekend and there's a lot of fun to be had out there.

I've lived all over the world, but I was born and raised in California and have always been in love with our way of life here. I’ve always appreciated the aesthetic and vibe of the California coast. I think the California lifestyle just meshes with the vegan lifestyle.

There is lots of fun stuff to do when it comes to veganism right now and I’d like to be a bigger part of it.

I’ve been an activist for years now, but now I want to talk about ideas and themes and motifs, not just post recipes.

I’m an ethical vegan. I want to promote a healthy fun active lifestyle that includes all the things that make California great.
